The Department of Translation and Interpreting (Departamento de Traducción e Interpretación) is affiliated to the Faculty of Translation and Documentation (Facultad de Traducción y Documentación) of the University of Salamanca (USAL). The University of Salamanca, founded in 1218 and the oldest higher education institution in Spain, has been a member of the METS program since 2014.
Students in the METS program choose 26 ECTS from the “Máster en Traducción y Mediación Intercultural”. The USAL proposes a specialization in Editorial and Technical Translation during the first semester.
